On December 28th, the proceeds from the Korea Daily Bazaar were donated to six individuals in need in the Korean American community. These recipients were recommended and selected by major social service organizations; each individual received a scholarship of $1,000. This support goes to the most vulnerable women, children, and families to drastically improve their quality of life.
KAFSC is honored to have one of our Taransitional Housing clients, Ms. Park, be a recipient of this support. Ms. Park plans to use it towards her college education in counselling. Thank you to the Korea Daily and all of our community partners for their amazing work!
